JTC successfully developed and launched manufacture of Phenol formaldehyde impregnated fibreglass reinforcement for grinding wheel industries in the year 1969 & felicited by awarding ‘National Award’ for Import substitutes for the product of Phenol formaldehyde impregnated fibreglass reinforcements centre discs for grinding wheels. Then after it was honoured to represent JTC in Indian Standard Specification for flexible insulating sleeves.
1971 was the year in which JTC introduced with the backup of their strong R&D, fibreglass copper cables/leads impregnated with insulating varnish with thermak applications. This being a high tech import substitute product JTC received Gold Medal from Government of India.
In the year 1974 bought ownership plot at Khopat, adjacent to Punjani Industrial Estate, within Thane City limit.
In the year 1975 JTC introduced wide range of fibreglass products in Indian market and in 1976 once again we are being felicited by awarding ‘National Award’ for import substitutions for Resin impregnated fibreglass grinding wheel reinforcements.
Fibreglass varnished sleevings with high temperature resistant colour coating introduced in the year 1980.
Also introduced ‘Silicone Elastomer Insulated Sleeve’ first time in India in the year 1983.
New unit floated in the name of TAPAC INDUSTRIES for fibreglass sleevings in the year 1983 for the specific requirements of Siemens limited & others.
In the year 1987 further one unit at Bangalore in the name of THANAWALA CORPORATION is floated to capture the specific requirement of Glass Fibre Discs of M/S Carborundum Universal Ltd. & others
In the year 1989 Crompton Greaves Ltd., awarded first prize in vendor development.
JTC has introduce the ‘Silicone Elastomer Insulated Sleevings and Cables’ to Railways and proud to be approved by RDSO (Research Designs & Standards Organisation), Lucknow as approved supplier for Indian Railways in the year 1997.
The new products ‘Stitched Mat & Chopped Strands’ added in our range of products in the year 1999 & 2000 respectively.
JTC has introduced the high temperature ‘Fibreglass Sleevings and Cables to Railways for their 3 & 4.5 KW Alternators and approved by RDSO in the year 2003.
Entire range of JTC products meet the strict specification laid down under either I.S. or B.S. or J.I.S. or D.I.N or N.E.M.A or Railways.
JTC has been certifying by an ISO 9001- 2000 in the year 2004 and ISO 9001-2008 in the year 2010.
JTC with 45 year of standing, today has carved its name for high quality products mainly in the Indian Electrical Industry and with modesty boasts of having state to art manufacturing units located in India.
